If you're looking for information on Moon Intern, I have an entire section of my portfolio dedicated to it. Look there for the scoop and a couple of older playable versions of the game before it was turned into a kickstarter project. To follow development of the project you can visit the DevBlog at MoonIntern.com.
I have worked on many projects for artistic, educational and commercial purposes. Team sizes have ranged from 2 to 30+ persons and I've enjoyed both ends of that spectrum. In the creative process I try to be influenced more by my imagination than anything that is really grounded. Due to my love of abstraction I believe my work requires a bit of imagination of the viewers part. Compromise and the desire to enjoy both cute and creepy images simultaneously are what drives and ultimately completes my art.
Beat Pirates
Rhythm-based kidnapping and pirate simulation
Beat Pirates is a rhythm based kidnapping game I had the pleasure of collaborating to design and create this one-of-a-kind title as part of a 2-week game jam. The look and feel of Beat Pirates is very unique and you'll become engrossed as you bob your head to the beat the whole way through. It's a whole lot of fun that you absolutely need to try right this second! Check out Beat Pirates right here. Or just watch the rad video above.
Water Aloft the Ridge
A 3rd person puzzle and narrative driven adventure
Water Aloft the Ridge is the 2012 Columbia College Chicago senior capstone project which I played a lead in the development of. As the Lead Level Designer my roles included drafting and iterating designs for all levels and puzzles, communicating them to the team, building prototype levels, assembling and implementing final levels and puzzles with assets from the art team. To learn more about or play Water Aloft the Ridge, please visit this page.
RESTINCT Case Study : Mary
A collection of small intriguing puzzle games
RESTINCT is an independently developed game created with Unity. As the designer for the "Case Study: Mary" portion of the game. To learn more about and play RESTINCT, please visit this page. RESTINCT is made up of several puzzle type games that will challenge your mind and wit. I urge you to play this gem, especially if you have a gamepad connected to your computer.
Belt Miner
A simple strategy board game
Belt Miner is a game I designed while at Columbia College Chicago after given a set of constraints. Resource and unit management played a large part in the board game based on asteroid mining.
Papercraft Wars
A collectable papercraft battling game
Papercraft Wars is another board game made during my time at Columbia College Chicago. Two Players face off against each other on a long thin arena. Cut out, fold and assemble your army before battle. Themed teams like Dwarves, Undead and Royals for example would battle it out until the other players throne is occupied.
The GoBackGun Game and other educational work
A funny little game made while at Columbia College Chicago. Work your way through a maze and solve puzzles using a gun that doesn't shoot lasers, but rather teleports the player back to the entrance of a room. A fun project that ended up forging a bond between myself and Gewargis, one of my Cosmosaur business partners.
Another college project. A multiplayer arena constructed and scripted with the Torque 3D engine.

A very short animation about a robot.

The Unreal Engine is fun to play around with I found in another project. This scene was constructed using mostly vanilla assets, but there a couple assets like a Pumpkin-o-bot and an Archway.
